Lemon Balm Botanical Name Melissa officinalis, belongs to the Mint Family, is a native to the Mediterrean, Asia and North Africa and has been used medicinally since ancient Roman Times as well as in Ayurveda, and has nervine, emmanogogue, antioxidant, antihistamine, anti-inflammatory, and memory-enhancing effects as well as being antiviral and antibacterial.
