Borage Flowers/Leaves: Botanical Name: Borago officinalis

It has been known by herbalists as an herb that brings courage, and now with modern science, we have come to realize that Borage Flowers and Leaves support the adrenal glands and may support us in certain stressful conditions.

It contains Vitamin C, potassium, tannins, mucilage anf saponins. Its seeds contain fatty acids high in GLA. Both Borage leaves and flowers stimulate the adrenals, promote lactation, helps with colds and flus due to expectorant actions, and may promote sweating.

Borage leaves and flowers can be enjoyed both as infusions and as syrup. There are no known contraindications, but caution should be used with pregnancy, nursing mothers, or any female conditions.
